On Deck Academy Softball Tryout

*Time: 1:30-3:00PM (10/12U) 3:00-4:30PM (14/16U)

Our program is built on a training-first model, focused on developing complete athletes through structure, consistency, and intentional coaching. These tryouts are designed to evaluate not only skill, but also coachability, effort, and fit within our system.
Evaluation Criteria:
Athletes will be evaluated on the following:
Hitting Ability (mechanics, consistency, approach)
Defensive Skills (footwork, glove work, body control)
Throwing Mechanics & Arm Strength
Athleticism & Movement (speed, coordination, effort)
Game Awareness & Coachability
Attitude, Effort, and Body Language
*We are looking for athletes who are willing to be coached, compete with intent, and commit to development.
Tryout Preparation:
Athletes should arrive prepared and ready to compete.
Turf shoes or molded cleats
Softball pants
Full gear (glove, bat, helmet, etc.)
Water bottle
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.
