On Deck Academy is proud to announce the commitment of Spencer Powell (2026 On Deck O’s/Metrolina Christian) to Wingate University! Spencer is a talented and reliable catcher who has elite defensive ability and skill. He has a high-level baseball IQ and a tremendous drive to be a great player and teammate. Offensively, he has tremendous upside as a middle of the order run producer with power and physicality that projects. He is also an outstanding student and fine young man. Congratulations to Coach Gregory and the Wingate staff! The Bulldogs have landed another outstanding student-athlete for their program!
