On Deck Academy is excited to announce that Bowen Powell (2025 On Deck O’s/Hickory Ridge High School) is committed to Wingate University! Bowen is known and well-respected for his work ethic and commitment to being the best version of himself every day. He is a pleasure to coach and he is the ultimate team guy. His competitiveness is on display every time he takes the field and he loves the challenge of the big moment. He is a hitter! His offensive abilities are undeniable. He has plus power and elite barrel skills. He is also a versatile defender who plays with energy and loves to win. Bowen is an outstanding student and a wonderful ambassador to On Deck Academy and HRHS. The Wingate Bulldogs are one of the most accomplished, respected, and successful collegiate programs in the country, and Bowen is a great addition to their program!
