On Deck Academy proudly announces that @chris_short21 (2025 On Deck O’s/South Mecklenburg HS) has committed to @mcbaseballscots! It has been fun to watch Christopher develop and compete over the years. He is a longtime member of the O’s program, and he is a dynamic athlete who stands out as a talented middle infielder and productive hitter. Coach Helton and the Scots are coming off of an impressive championship season a year ago and they have landed a special student-athlete in this recruiting class.
