DYNAMIC PITCHING CLASSES
Welcome to the Early Winter Dynamic Pitching Sessions, where we'll dive into how to optimize your performance on the mound using three critical components: Weighted Implements, Mobility drills, and Flexibility Training all specifically related to pitching movements. Pitching is a highly dynamic skill that requires not only strength and power but also the ability to move efficiently and with precision.
In these sessions, we'll explore how each of these three areas contributes to a pitcher's overall performance, injury prevention, and durability. We'll discuss and build the foundational strength needed to generate velocity, ensure optimal movement patterns and the ability to rotate through the body effectively, as well as enhance joint range of motion and recovery, keeping the body adaptable to the intense demands of pitching.
Through a tailored approach to each of these elements, you'll learn how to specifically train for the demands of pitching, ensuring you're not only stronger and more explosive but also able to move fluidly, maintain control, and reduce the risk of injury.
NOTE: THESE CLASSES ARE NON THROWING CLASSES THIS TIME OF YEAR. THIS IS A WORKOUT.
Each class session is $35. These classes are designed and led by John Steele, On Deck Academy's Director of Pitching.
IMPORTANT: When you register for these sessions, make sure you sign up for session 1 FIRST before moving onto session 2 (it is being offered in a series!).
